Congratulations to another Liberal Club Winning Team

On Friday 21 st September

The Nuneaton and District Wednesday night Ladies Darts and Dominoes league held their annual prize giving evening at Our Liberal Club.

It was a good night for all with the Beatlegs Beatles providing the entertainment.

Even better for our Liberal club team.

The Team pictured below collected the Darts runners up trophy.

There was further Glory for Carol Lee and Chris Hood who were winners in the Pairs 5s and 3s category. This trophy is not shown as it is to be replaced this year and the new one is not yet ready. (only the best for our girls!).

And there's more…….Chris is pictured holding her Ladies League aggregate 5s and 3s winning trophy. (strictly speaking she was joint winner, but being joint winner after missing a game through ill health is to be applauded!)

IN AN EXCITING GAME ATT LIBS DUO BEAT CHESTNUTS 2 - 0

Winners

Chris Richardson and David Sanders beat all comers to reach the Nuneaton and District Snooker Doubles final held at Coton Conservative club on May 12 th . Here they triumphed 2-0 and collected the Ansells Pairs Competition cup for 2006/2007.

 

Other members of the team Allan Bradley and Kevin Bazeley were almost there reaching the semi finals stages.

 

Celebrating the victory are fellow team members (left to right) David Sanders, Steve Bazeley, Allan Bradley, Stewart Freeman and Chris Richardson. Kevin Bazeley was unable to make it.
